The mindless support of the federal government in the Oct. 10 editorial cartoon is nothing short of frightening.
The bombastic, American-style bravado of the Stephen Harper’s Conservatives has put a target on our (previously internationally respected) backs.
The U.S. has been fighting in the region for years, but the only thing accomplished has been the fanning of the flames of terrorism.
Let’s make no mistake – Middle Eastern oil, and evangelical Christianity are the main reasons for this action. That, and war is also an excellent diversion against electoral fraud, corrupt senators, underfunded healthcare, underfunded education, unemployment, skyrocketing food costs, child poverty, environmental degradation, and the steady and calculated erosion of social services.
Canada has been rendered unrecognizable under the (dubiously attained) northern Tea Party majority.
Is it 2015 yet?
