Letters: ‘Still getting gouged at the pump’

The oil companies are simply taking advantage of those of us who can’t afford to live closer to Vancouver.

I commute daily and find that gas is at least three cents cheaper or more once you cross the Pitt River Bridge.

The oil companies are simply taking advantage of those of us who can’t afford to live closer to Vancouver by gouging us.

There is no reason why gas prices should be as high here as in Vancouver, where commercial space for the gas station would be triple the price.

Three cents may not sound much, but for one fill up per week, it amounts to $124.80 per year.
