Sexist sour grapes

Mayoralty candidate ignoring how the winner ran campaign

Editor, The News:

Re: Read tops campaign spending (The News, Feb. 25).

I have to ask why Mike Morden stated he lost the election for two reasons?

The second reason was not given, but the first reason was  because he was not a woman.

The quote stated:  “It gives her a strategic advantage when the rest of them are men”.

This is like saying it had nothing to do with the quality of the campaign she ran, her intelligence, her communication skills, or her grasp of the issues we face as a community.

The addled voters just wanted a woman for a change.

Sounds like sexist sour grapes to me.
