On Monday, Maple Ridge secondary hosted the senior badminton district finals, and the Ramblers earned first place in all five events.
Winners:
• John An and Jason Choi – boys doubles champs;
• Simran Johar and Christina Woo – girls doubles champs;
• John An – boys singles champ;
• Rebekah Escueta – girls singles champ;
• Jason Choi and Christina Woo – mixed doubles champs.
The team will move on to compete in the Upper Fraser Valleys on May 3 in Port Moody.
