Bill McDowell and Andy Ferguson kept their perfect records intact to remain tied for first place in Haney Masters’ Curling action at Golden Ears Curling Club.
Led by Clifford Wells (third), Svend Neilson (second) and Roland Hill (lead), the McDowell rink dumped veteran Bill Gardner’s foursome for a 5-0 record, while Ferguson managed a narrow 9-7 victory over last session’s champion Jim Maitland.
Ferguson’s rink of Tom Little (third), Jack Flottorp (second) and Eric Holler (lead) came up with two points in the last end to defeat Maitland’s rink of Tony Stadig, Grant Green and Tim Tyler.
