The Burrards pee wee B1 team captured the bronze medal at the 29th annual Wayne Goss Memorial Tournament hosted by Semiahmoo over the weekend.

The Burrards went 3-0 in round-robin play, outscoring their opposition by an aggregate of 24-6.

In the semifinal with Penticton the score was tied 3-3 after regulation and OT. Unfortunately, the burrards lost in the shootout.

The Burrards won bronze, beating Port Moody 9-2.

Round robin game MVPs  were Kevin McConachie, Alec Birnie and Jack Thomson.
