With the series tied at a game apiece, the Ridge Meadows Flames Junior B playoffs return to Planet Ice tonight.

On Wednesday night the Aldergrove Kodiaks knotted the best-of-seven affair, with a 4-2 win at the Aldergrove Community Arena.

The puck drops tonight at 7:30 p.m., and game four is set for Saturday night at 7:45 p.m.

GM/coach Jamie Fiset is looking forward to having the advantage of last line change, after having his hottest forwards drag Kodiak checkers around to start the series.

“That last change is huge,” he said. “They were able to get the lineup matches they wanted.”

The Kodiaks jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period and held on to win.

Fiset liked the fight his team showed in getting themselves back in the game, saying “our guys showed a lot of character in the last two periods.”

Travis Oddy and Connor Redmond scored for the Flames, while Sean Pesut had two assists.
