Greg Hook’s rink continued its winning ways as they ran their unbeaten record to 5-0 with a come-from-behind victory over Jim Maitland’s rink in Haney Masters’ Curling at Golden Ears Curling Club on Wednesday.

The Hook rink of Chris Martin (third), Bob Axford (second) and Bob Bourgeault (lead) waited until the last end to grab an 8-6 win over the Maitland rink of Hilly Boonstra, Svend Nielson and Jock Anderson.

The league opened up play for its fall session with four teams in the running with four wins and only one loss.  The loss by Maitland dropped him into a tie for second place with the rinks of Eric Holler, Bill Hanula and Roger Fast.

League play continues every Monday and Wednesday with 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. draws at Golden Ears Curling Club.
