Juvenile hockey provincials start Thursday at Cam Neely Arena

Some of the best junior-aged hockey talent in the province will be in town this weekend for the B.C. Juvenile Provincial Championships.

The tournament features the six best juvenile rep teams from across the province, with all games being played at Cam Neely Arena at Planet Ice, Maple Ridge.

The opening ceremonies take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, with the tournament championship set for 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The Ridge Meadows Rustlers A1 team will see its first action of the tournament at 10:30 a.m. Thursday against North Vancouver, then will face North Delta immediately after the opening ceremonies Thursday night. The Rustlers also face Seafair on Friday at 8 p.m. and Richmond at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
