Canoe Kayak B.C. and coaches Mark Klevinas and Rhys del Valle have announced the training squad for the upcoming Canada Summer Games in Sherbrook, Que.
The men’s squad includes Brian Malfesi, Hank Wang, Justin Won, Omar Said and Sebastian Sorescu of Maple Ridge, and Alex Brent of Deroche.
The women’s squad will be also has a strong local presence with Julianna Won, Sandra Sorescu, Tessa Nagai and Yasmine Semeniuk.
Final team selection is slated for July 14th in Burnaby.
