Golfer Lucas O’Dell’s very first shot, during the first round at the Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games, found its way into the back of one of the rules official’s power cart. The official ruling on the incident was Movable Obstruction. Lucas was able to take relief without penalty. He was asked to lift the ball, while the moveable obstruction (power cart) was moved out of the way and then drop the ball as near as possible to the spot directly under where the ball lay on the power cart.
