On Canada Day the Ridge Meadows Pride '03 won the provincial mite softball championship, in a tournament held at Squint lake Park in Burnaby.
It was 10 years to the date that another past RMMSA member Larissa Franklin, now a Canadian national team player, won the same tournament. Larissa spent time with the Pride all week and came out to support the team as it battled in the hot summer sun.
