Last weekend the cross country team from Maple Ridge secondary travelled to Yakima Washington to participate in the prestigious Sunfair Invitational.
Strong performances were highlighted by Marquesis Haintz’ victory in the freshman race, and Jamie Hennessey’s top 10 performance in one of the most competitive senior races.
The team will be travelling to Washington again on Saturday to participate in the Nike Hole in the Wall competition, which is Washington’s biggest meet.
