The Ridge Meadows Bruins blasted the Abbotsford RFC 42-29 in men’s rugby action on Saturday.

The Ridge Meadows Bruins  blasted the Abbotsford RFC 42-29 in men’s rugby action on Saturday.

The Bruins improved to 2-3 in the standings for the Lower Mainland Third Division. So far they have been one of the highest scoring teams on the circuit.

The Bruins women dropped their record to  0-3 after a 36-10 loss against Nanaimo on Saturday.

Both teams will play  home games at Thomas Haney this Saturday.

The women will look to get their first win as they face the Brit Lions at 11:30 a.m.

The men face a tough Capilano squad, which has gone 4-1 so far this season, in a 1 p.m. game.
