Ridge to host junior men’s provincials

Ridge Royals down PoCo 5-4.

The Ridge Meadows Royals defeated the Port Coquitlam Canadians 5-4 Sunday on a walk-off hit by Landon White, scoring Matt Whieldon.

The Royals host South Delta for a playoff game this Sunday at 6 p.m., again at Albion Sports Complex. They play their final playoff game before the provincials on Wednesday against Cloverdale.

Ridge hosts the junior men’s baseball provincials in Hammond Aug. 6-7.
