Ridge Meadows will be well represented when Team B.C. heads east to Whitby, Ontario this summer for the Canadian National Lacrosse Championships.

Six Ridge Meadows Pee Wee players made it through the recent selection camp and will suit up later this summer and the nationals at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby from Aug. 1-9.

Chase Miller, Andrew Thompson, Hunter Meyer, Brayden Wandler, Joel McCormick and Jackson Fridge will help guide B.C. in it’s quest for gold.

The Pee Wee team will be looking for redemption this year, after dropping an 8-2 decision to Ontario in the gold medal game last season. B.C. made the final with a 5-2 win over their rivals from Alberta.

In all, Ridge Meadows had 14 boys who managed to earn a spot on one of four district teams who competed in the Team B.C. main camp selection process.
