The Pitt Meadows Museum is celebrating the spring season and the wide range of colourful flowers that it brings in this month’s Museum Sundays crafts.

The first of these craft kits will be available on May 5, and will have people construct a bouquet of flowers that are sure to never wilt and die. This mini bouquet of eternal flowers will feature a collection of bright colours for all to enjoy.

On May 12, things will take a more magical turn, with the kits containing everything needed to turn terra cotta pots into homes for fairies or any other sort of mythical creature.

There will be no Museum Sundays kit on May 19 as the museum will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday.

But they will return on May 26 for the final craft kit of the month. This one is sure to be a big hit with book lovers as it will guide people through the process of crafting their very own flowery bookmarks.

“It’s all about a beautiful bouquet of colours and curiosity this month,” said the Pitt Meadows Museum.

The Museum Sunday kits are available every Sunday morning in the lobby of the museum and can be purchased with a minimum donation of $2.
