Sweet weather ahead for Easter egg hunts in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows

Sunny forecast for both Saturday and Sunday

There will be beautiful weather for Easter Egg Hunts this weekend, according to the Environment Canada weather forecast for the Pitt Meadows weather station.

Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31, are both forecast to be sunny, with highs of 14 Celsius on Saturday, and 15 C on Sunday.

Monday, April 1 will stay just as warm, with a mix of sun and cloud, to close out the long weekend. Then, Tuesday will bring a return of spring showers with a 60 per cent chance of rain, but with temperatures remaining a warm 15 C.

There are a variety of family events this weekend, including Easter egg hunts at Hammond Park, the UBC Malcolm Knapp Research Forest, Maple Ridge Park, at Harris Road Park in Pitt Meadows, in Whonnock, and there will even a vegan friendly Easter egg search.
