Aldergrove artist Anita Denison with her bird houses on display during Art In The Swamp last year. The event is held at Rik Watson and Claire Louise Stephen's 'Old Chicken Farm' residence along Dewdney Trunk Rd. in Webster's Corners.

Reknowed photographer Bill Fowle and his artistic friends are joining forces at the quirky Art in the Swamp this weekend to raise money to rescue marine mammals on the West Coast.

The annual event takes place every year at the end of summer, to herald fall, at the old Finnish homestead in Webster's Corner where Rik Watson and Claire Louise Stephen live.

Fowle has been a photographer for over 30 years. His passion for the outdoors has led him all over the world.

Other artists at the event include Kimberly Hayek, a poet, who has been writing for more than 40 years.

First-time 'swamper' Caitlin Healy will exhibit her multi-dimensional, playful abstracts at the event.

Cindy Hoflin's artwork reflects the work she's been doing for the past year - rescuing whales, seals, dolphins, otters and other injured or hurt sea creatures.

Sandy Moulton has been an artist for over 25 years. She enjoys art that digs into the human psyche, as well as sculptures and murals.

Jackie Murton loves to experiment with colour. Her non-conventional art is often mixed-media on subjects that include animals and landscapes.

Nancy Patullo has loved art throughout her life. Her vibrant canvas quiver with life.

Scott Schell returns this year with more esoteric art to send the viewer on a magical journey.

Claire Stephen's will have "Art Rocks" on display.

There will be also be interactive art such as the Golden Feet "toll-free" Bridge, Hacker's Heaven, Rik's Peace Arches and the Peace Maze.

Ten per cent of sales will be going towards helping marine mammals.
